must pass the Pre-CAS interview, a crucial step to

student’s knowledge of the university, its origins, and their own academic
plans. Short, vague answers won’t work. Universities expect well-structured,
justified responses, not rushed replies within a minute. A strong student portfolio is key, showing clear academic goals
and reasons for choosing the course. Each university handles this
differently—some allow re-interviews
or provide mock sessions, while others are
strict, where failing could mean a CAS delay or rejection. To succeed, students
must prepare thoroughly, demonstrate genuine intent, and confidently justify
their choices.
